We’ve made some improvements to our job adverts live date functionality, to enhance the consistency and reliability. You do not need to do anything, this functionality will automatically be made live in your Jobtrain platform on 4th December 2024.
The changes we’ve made mean that:
Automatic Date Selection: When you choose Enable Advert it will now automatically set the ‘Advert Live Date’ to today’s date.
Date Restrictions: Past dates can no longer be selected for the ‘Advert Live Date’.
Not advertised jobs: If a job advert is not posted (e.g. you exit without saving or you turn off the Advert toggles), the 'Advert Live Date' will reset to Please select.
Consistent Live Date when a job advert is re-opened: If you re-open a closed advert, the advert will retain the original 'Advert Live Date' as the earliest date of advertisement.
Accurate date tracking: The 'Advert Live Date' reflects the first time the advert was posted on that portal.
Separate portal configurations: If a job is advertised on one portal, other portals will show Please select until they are enabled.
Future date scheduling: By adding future ‘Advert Live Dates’, it will allow adverts to go live on the selected future date.
Editable future dates: Future live dates can be updated at any point, up until the advert goes live.
