The Edit After Submission feature allows candidates to edit their submitted application up to the point of the job closing date. This guide provides information on what to expect.
Edit application after submission
Once you have alerted your candidate(s) that you would like them to return to their application and update/amend their details (typically, the notification is activated using a candidate status change + email), the candidate would log into their homepage where an Edit button is displayed.
In the communications to candidates, we advise you to include guidance and instructions, such as providing a link to the candidate portal; where to find the edit button; informing them a declaration box will be displayed on each page they are update and therefore no requirement to re-sign the declaration at the end of the process.
When a candidate has selected Edit, they will see the screen below. The candidate should then select Edit Application for the application form to be displayed.
When a candidate has edited their application and pressed Save & Continue, a declaration box will pop-up for them to acknowledge.
Once a candidate has updated their details an icon will then be displayed against the candidate in the job.
The changes are updated in the candidate's application (for that particular job) and a record of Edit Application is captured in the candidate's history. Providing the user has access to history they are able to view the details as per example below.
