Modified on Wed, 1 Apr at 3:56 PM

For: Superusers, recruiters

What’s new

We’ve introduced a new Training/Courses section in application forms, allowing you to capture training and short course qualifications in a structured, repeatable format within the Education section.

Training/Courses section

You’ll now see a Training/Courses option within the Education page of the application form builder.

When enabled:

  • Candidates can enter multiple training or course records
  • Each entry is captured using structured fields
  • Field labels can be customised to match your organisation’s terminology

Available fields:

  • From Date
  • To Date
  • Course Title
  • Result
  • Organisation / Awarding Body
  • Nature of Award

What you need to do

To use this feature:

  • Go to Settings > Application Form Builder > Education
  • Add and configure the Training/Courses section

This section is not enabled by default and must be added to your application form.

Where you’ll see it

For candidates:

  • Appears under Education in the application form
  • Allows multiple entries (repeatable rows)

For recruiters and hiring managers:

  • Visible within candidate application records under Education

Data visibility and usage

Training/Courses data is available across the system and included in key workflows:

  • Displayed in candidate applications and recruiter views (most recent first)
  • Included when copying a previous application and when using Assign/Move to Job
  • Available in Advanced Insights reporting
  • Included in candidate packs, forwarded applications and exports

Validation rules

  • From Date cannot be later than To Date
  • Course Title and Organisation/Awarding Body are required
  • Validation messages display if fields are incomplete or incorrect

No impact to existing functionality

This is an additional section within Education and does not affect existing functionality. All current education fields, workflows and reporting remain unchanged.
