How to create a job advert using AI

Pre-requisites

  • Your organisation must have opted into using Jobtrain’s AI functionality
  • Your user profile must have access to add / edit jobs
  • Your security / user profile must have access to Generate Advert Using AI enabled.  

 

Please speak to your System Superuser if you think you should have access and currently do not.

 

Create a job advert with AI

Steps

  1. Go to Jobs › Advert Copy for the vacancy you’re working on.
  2. The AI Job Advert Generator appears on the right.
  3. Choose your preferences:
    • Tone & Style – Standard, Formal or Casual
    • Length – Short, Medium or Long
    • What will attract candidates? – add benefits or culture points (≤ 100 words)
    • Skills & Qualifications – key must‑haves (≤ 100 words)
  4. Review the Job Details panel. Toggle any fields you DON’T want the AI to see.
  5. Click Generate advert.
  6. A new text box appears at the top of the advert. Read and edit as required.
  7. (Optional) Click Generate advert again with different settings to create alternatives – each version lands in its own text box.
  8. Save the advert when you’re happy


AI use is rate limited to all users within your organisation and to you as an individual user. If you see a message asking you to try again later, you have used all of your AI credits.

Why can’t I generate more adverts right now?

You may have reached the rate limit; try again later or ask an administrator.

 

Is the wording bias‑checked?

The prompt instructs AI to write in inclusive, bias‑free language, but you should always proof‑read before posting.
