We’re excited to share the latest updates from our Product team – designed to save you time, increase flexibility and enhance the candidate experience.

From 11th September 2025, you’ll be able to start using these new features straight away – no action is needed before the release date.

Assessment Forms – Smarter, faster, more flexible

We’ve introduced powerful new tools to make assessments more adaptable, insightful and easy to manage, helping you create a fairer and more efficient recruitment process.

• Randomised and branching questions – Keep candidates engaged and tailor the form flow based on their answers.
• New rating question type – Collect feedback on a 1–5 or 1–10 scale, as stars or numbers.
• Job type tagging and quick insights – Tag, filter and instantly see if a form is in use.
• Enhanced scoring – Let the system handle pass mark and max score calculations.
• Improved shortlisting and candidate view – Colour-coded progress indicators and clearer score displays.

AI powered recruiting tools (free trial)

Our new embedded AI tools help you create high-quality recruitment content in seconds – without leaving Jobtrain – so you can focus more on engaging with candidates.

Now available as a free trial. All clients have access to an initial pool of AI Credits to try out these features. A tiered purchase model will follow later this year.

• AI job advert – Draft inclusive, engaging job adverts straight from your vacancy details.
• AI image generation – Produce professional, on-brand images for adverts and social posts.
• AI question recommendations – Generate tailored shortlisting or assessment questions to match your role.

Security roles and rate limits keep usage safe and fair, while built-in bias reduction ensures inclusivity in generated content.

Other enhancements

We’ve delivered a range of smaller updates to make Jobtrain even smoother to use – all designed to save clicks, improve visibility and give you more control.

• New CV quick access icon – Add an optional column to the Candidate Listing Page with a quick-access CV icon, just like in Talent Networks.
• New candidate icons – Instantly spot Veteran/Armed Forces candidates or apply your own custom icon with optional hover text.
• Indeed Direct Apply – personal details – Capture candidates’ personal details directly from Indeed and auto-populate them into Jobtrain.
