What is Hire Intelligence?
Hire Intelligence is a smart, automated recruitment advertising platform that:
- Distributes your jobs across 3,500+ job boards, aggregators and social platforms
- Optimises job ad spend using programmatic technology
- Tracks cost-per-application, cost-per-interview and cost-per-hire
- Improves application conversion rates (typically 20%+ uplift)
- Supports better budgeting and forecasting through real-time reporting
This means you only pay for performance (actual applications) and can reduce or redirect spend on underperforming channels.
How the integration works
The integration between Jobtrain and Hire Intelligence works in three ways:
1. Job distribution
- When you post a job in Jobtrain, it is automatically pulled into Hire Intelligence. All externally advertised jobs are included.
- Jobs are categorised by priority using a traffic light system (e.g. critical, boosted, organic-only).
- Hire Intelligence auto-distributes jobs to the most relevant channels, including job boards and social media.
2. Application and screening
- Candidates apply via one-click or easy apply options.
- Optional screening questions (e.g. "Do you have a driving licence?") can be added as Pre-Assessment questions in Jobtrain to ensure quality control.
- Relevant applications are sent directly into Jobtrain as a direct apply application with no extra manual steps.
3. Real-time performance tracking
- Hire Intelligence pulls back anonymous candidate status updates (e.g. interviewed, hired) from Jobtrain.
- Through source tracking, recruiters see detailed, real-time insights into which channels are performing best.

- No change to how you post jobs in Jobtrain
- Applications appear as normal in Jobtrain, with the source attributed to Hire Intelligence.
- Additional analytics are available in the Hire Intelligence dashboard:

Hire Intelligence can also manage any existing job board contracts, credits or subscriptions on your behalf as they will simply be ported over to the platform.

Pricing model
Hire Intelligence offers a flexible, transparent pricing model that gives you full control over spend:
1. Platform licence fee
- An annual licence fee gives you access to the Hire Intelligence platform and services.
- Multi-year discounts and special offers are in place for Jobtrain customers.
2. Pay-per-application pricing
- You only pay for the applications you receive - not job postings.
- Pricing is based on cost-per-application (CPA), making it easier to control your return on spend.
- You can set limits on the number of applications received per job to avoid unnecessary costs.
3. Use your existing contracts
- Already have job board credits or subscriptions? Hire Intelligence can manage and optimise them within the platform.
- This helps you get more value from what you’ve already paid for.
4. Flex your budget to suit you
- You can scale usage up or down depending on hiring needs and budget.
This pricing approach replaces the traditional “buy credits upfront and hope” model with a more data-driven, flexible alternative that puts you in control.

How is Hire Intelligence billed?
You’ll pay an annual licence fee plus any agreed budget for monthly job board advertising. Billing is handled directly by Hire Intelligence.
Can I set limits on how many applications I receive per job?
Yes. You can cap the number of applications per job ad to avoid overpaying. This cap only applies to applications received via Hire Intelligence. Jobtrain itself will not limit applications.
What if I already have preferred job boards?
You can continue using your existing job boards. Hire Intelligence can integrate with most job boards, including niche and subscription-based ones.
Can I compare performance across different job boards?
Yes. The dashboard gives you real-time reporting across all job boards, including cost-per-application and cost-per-hire.
Do I need to contact job boards directly?
No. Hire Intelligence manages vendor relationships and negotiations for you.
What happens if a job isn’t performing well?
Hire Intelligence can automatically boost it or recommend changes based on performance trends.
Is there a minimum spend or contract term?
The platform fee is based on yearly/multi year subscription, with media spend agreed month to month to enable you to flex up and down as required.
