Release notes - Tasks, Job and Candidate Quick Filters, plus a shiny new configurable dashboard!
We are rolling out a set of powerful updates designed to make Jobtrain faster, clearer and easier to navigate. All features are now available to explore in your TEST environments and will go live on 4th December 2025.
My Tasks – your new command centre for recruitment
We’ve reimagined how you stay on top of what matters - now available in Test/UAT environments.
My Tasks brings every action - from job approvals to onboarding checks - into one intelligent, real-time view.
No more searching through pages, filters or emails. My Tasks does the heavy lifting, surfacing what needs attention the moment it becomes relevant.
What’s new
One hub for all activity
Every action is grouped clearly under categories like Approvals, Interviews, Offers, References, Compliance and Onboarding.
Powered by automation
Our new Rule-Based Automation engine continually evaluates workflow activity, ensuring only the right tasks appear - at exactly the right time.
Role-specific by design
Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Onboarding teams each see a personalised list based on permissions and responsibilities.
Always current
Tasks appear and disappear automatically, keeping your list clean and actionable.
Effortless navigation
Expand a task to see its details, then jump directly to the related job or candidate with a single click.
Instant visibility
A new notification counter in the top-navigation keeps you up to date at a glance.
Why it matters
My Tasks replaces manual checks and guesswork with clarity and brings with it momentum - helping teams act faster, stay aligned and never lose sight of what’s next.

Interactive Job and Candidate filter cards
A faster, smarter way to manage jobs and candidates
Visual, interactive insights - now available in Test/UAT environments
Instantly filter jobs and candidates by recruitment stage using new interactive filter cards at the top of the List of Jobs and Candidate Listing pages.
These clickable cards provide a real-time overview of how many jobs or candidates are at each stage - such as Draft, Advertised, Shortlisting, or Interviewing - based on the most advanced applicant status.
Selecting a card automatically updates the list view below, helping you focus on what matters most without navigating away or applying complex filters.

What’s changed
- New stage filters – now at the top of Job and Candidate Lists
- Live counts – to reflect the number of jobs or candidates per stage (based on your access and status settings)
- One-click filtering that instantly updates the Job or Candidate list below
- Cleaner UI - reduced clutter by hiding actions and icons where users don’t have permission
- Smarter status dropdown - “Change candidate status to” dropdown now only appears when candidates are selected, helping keep the list view clear and uncluttered.

We’ve also tidied up the list of candidates display:
"Change candidate status to" dropdown
- This dropdown only appears after you select one or more candidates using the checkboxes.
- A count will be displayed once selected, i.e.:
“3 candidates selected - ready to change status.”
This reduces UI clutter and avoids confusion when no candidates are selected.

COMING SOON!
Brand-new configurable Dashboard - personalised insights, your way
Your homepage just got smarter.
We’re introducing a completely redesigned Dashboard that puts your most important recruitment insights, tasks and trends right where you need them - all through flexible, widget-based configuration.
Built around a modern grid layout, the new Dashboard lets superusers design tailored homepage layouts for each Security Role.
Choose from a library of interactive widgets - from candidate pipelines and source breakdowns to interviews, onboarding progress, job authorisations, calendars and more - and arrange them exactly how your teams work.
Your existing dashboard will remain visible until you’re ready. Once a superuser creates a Dashboard Template and assigns it to a Security Role, users with that role will automatically see the new version.
Available in TEST sites from 8th December. Live from 15th January.
